ASG (Cleveland, Ohio) has developed a new spring balancer, used to support most of the weight of manual assembly tools. The balancer permits the tool operator full access to the work area without tool interference. The tool tether is completely retractable but can be adjusted to partially retract, per user preference. The system is designed to reduce operator fatigue and improve efficiency by keeping tools at an ergonomic height. It also can reduce the incidence of workpiece damage by keeping the tool away from the work area when not in use. asg-jergens.gocomp.biz/2
