Master Bond's (Hackensack, N.J., U.S.A.) Polymer System Supreme 10HT/S is a uniquely formulated, silver-filled, one-component epoxy compound with service temperatures ranging from cryogenic to as much as 204°C/400°F. This electrically conductive epoxy composition meets NASA low-outgassing requirements. Supreme 10HT/S has a shelf life of three months at ambient temperatures, which can be extended by storage at lower temperatures. It heat-cures in one hour at 121°C/250°F, 30 minutes at 149°C/300°F and less at higher temperatures. A snap-cure version, Supreme 10HTSF, cures in less than two minutes at 193°C to 204°C/380°F to 400°F. Lap shear strengths with properly prepared substrates exceed 1,800 with high peel strengths and resistance to thermal cycling, says the company.
