Verisurf Software (Anaheim, Calif.) has announced the release of its next-generation reverse engineering software, Verisurf X. Developmental emphasis was on a new user interface that allows users to inspect, analyze, build and reverse engineer in a single software application. Features include a simplified menu structure for faster, easier operation; an always-available feature tree that gives the user access to inspection platform and data; real-time and offline mesh inspection; a CAD system for model-based inspection and reverse engineering; and new CATIA and Unigraphics/NX native read options with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) import capability.
