Huron Technologies (Leslie, Mich.) recently made available its water-based Mold Release Coating 7137, designed for use in applications that combine a composite with a fabric material in a permanent structure. According to the company, the release is effective for molding glass fiber-reinforced polyurea composites used in automobile and truck interiors. Benefits include high adhesion quality, low maintenance, high temperature stability and low build for cleaner molds. It is available in 5-gal pails and 55-gal drums.
