Available in three standard densities — 3.8, 6.9 and 9.4 lb/ft³ (60, 100 and 150 kg/m³) — the material reportedly also offers good acoustic/thermal insulation properties, low water absorption, good chemical resistance and can be thermoformed. Designed for sandwich constructions in public transit, wind energy and industrial/construction markets, the core has an M1/F1 rating (NF F 16-101 standard), complies with DIN 5510 S4 ST2 SR2, is compatible with most commonly used resins and molding processes and is available in grid-scored, double-cut or infusion-grooved/perforated forms.
