MoldWiz INT-33LCA is a new process aid additive from Axel Plastics Research Laboratories (Woodside, N.J.) suited to molding or compounding of polyolefins, TEPs and TPUs. The product reportedly improves resin flow, enhances dispersion and imparts good release. Comprised of a complex mixture of saturated and unsaturated fatty esters and modified organic derivatives, it is available as a 100 percent active pellet or a free-flowing powder that can be dry blended, gravitationally fed or metered at the throat of molding or extrusion equipment. Typical loading level is 0.3 to 0.5 percent by weight.
