Autometrix Precision Cutting Systems Inc. (Grass Valley, Calif.) has introduced the new Model M8 cutting table system. It features speeds of up to 66 in/sec (168 mm/sec) and is designed for high-volume, low-ply cutting applications that may require marking as well as precision, consistency, and reliability. The system uses a carbon fiber gantry, easy access to electronics, self diagnostics and an LCD touch screen display. The M8is manufactured in five widths: 63, 73, 83, 104 and 120 inches (160, 185, 211, 264, 305 mm). Available lengths range from 8 ft to 80 ft in 4-ft increments (2.4m to 24m in 1.2m increments).
