Gerber Technology (Tolland, Conn.) has signed an agreement with Digital Immersion Software Corp. (Ontario, Canada) under which the latter will develop a software solution that can automatically flatten 3-D design models to produce 2-D pattern pieces. The software will interface with Gerber's AccuMark Pattern Design

Gerber Technology (Tolland, Conn.) has signed an agreement with Digital Immersion Software Corp. (Ontario, Canada) under which the latter will develop a software solution that can automatically flatten 3-D design models to produce 2-D pattern pieces. The software will interface with Gerber's AccuMark Pattern Design System and is expected to be available in the first quarter of 2005.
