The new LBB Pass-Through Forced Convection Bench-Top Oven manufactured by Despatch Industries (Minneapolis, Minn., U.S.A.) features access doors on its front and back, allowing the oven to be integrated into the work flow of a laboratory or production work cell. Productive of temperatures as high as 204°C/400°F, the oven features both vertical and horizontal air flows to ensure uniform temperatures. Its open heating coils and fan deliver fast heat-up rates and shorter processing times, while digital controls regulate temperatures within tight tolerances, reported in either Fahrenheit or Celsius on a front-mounted LED panel. The oven's stainless steel chamber volume can be sized at 18 or 27 ft3/510 or 765 liters. Standard nickel-plated shelves hold as much as 23 kg/50 lb; optional reinforced shelves carry as much as 91 kg/200 lb.
