(Sunnyvale, Calif., USA) has developed an environmentally friendly solvent formulated to remove epoxy and polyester resins from manufacturing equipment, work surfaces and production floors. EpoxSol-GRIP, derived from Applied Chemical’s proven EpoxSol solvent technology, will dissolve cured and uncured resins at room temperature. It is virtually odorless and does not contain hazardous chemicals such as Acetone, MEK, or MIBK. It is said to stick to vertical surfaces when applied, thereby eliminating the need for repeated applications. Custom formulas can be provided for specific temperatures and methods of application, including immersion, wiping, and topical cleaning of equipment and tooling.
