Master Bond Inc. (Hackensack, N.J., U.S.A.) has developed EP51FL two-part flexible epoxy resin for high-performance bonding of fiber-reinforced plastics, ceramics, metals and other materials. Mixed 1:1 (by weight or volume), the compound cures quickly at room temperature and exhibits peel strength of more than 25 pli with elongation of >125 percent, with a service temperature ceiling of 120°C/250¡F, tensile strength of 1,150 psi and Shore D hardness of 12 to 15. .
