(Hudson, Mass.) has introduced its Air-Miser MSP-AM Series compact, air-driven, multistage venturi-style vacuum pumps that require only 45 psi/3.1 bar operating air pressure but reportedly provide the same holding capacity as conventional pumps that require 80 psi to 100 psi (5.52 bar to 6.89 bar). The vacuum pumps are offered in five sizes, ranging from 0.06 to 0.64 SCFM at 24 inches Hg. The pumps are made of anodized aluminum, have brass nozzles, and can be customized to meet specific application requirements. They come with a muffler and are offered with adapters for G to NPT attachment.
