The new LPS7 laser projection system from Virtek Vision International Inc. (Waterloo, Ontario, Canada) has been incorporated as a standard feature on all LaserEdge systems. It includes onboard diagnostic indicators and is completely sealed. The latter makes it suitable for use outside a cleanroom environment. Projectors are available with either a directly modulated Diode Pumped Solid State (DPSS) green wavelength laser or a red wavelength diode laser. It comes in short- or long-range versions and offers a choice of projection angle (field of view) options. Customers also may choose a shop-floor-ready configuration that best suits their work environments.
