Anaglyph Ltd. (London, U.K.) has issued version 3.2 of its Laminate Tools software package, which addresses the entire structural design, analysis, check and manufacture process, focusing specifically on composite materials. The software is designed to complement existing CAD systems and/or finite element analysis (FEA) packages, with native support for Nastran and Ansys FEA programs. New features include additional tools for design, postprocessing and manufacturing. Also, new import and export interfaces help improve data flow. Micro-strain calculations are now available and functionality has been added for detailed flat-pattern manipulation.
