Master Bond (Hackensack, N.J.) has announced the availability of Master Bond Supreme 10HT, an epoxy adhesive that combines high shear and peel strengths with convenient handling. This one-part epoxy eliminates mixing and cures in just 60 to 75 minutes at 250°F/121°C. It can withstand severe cryogenic temperatures to extreme heat with a temperature range up to 400°F/204°C. Supreme 10HT is said to offer tensile shear strength of more than 3,600 psi and T-peel strength up to 30 pli. Its flexibility and toughness enable it to resist thermal cycling, mechanical shock, vibration and stress fatigue cracking. Supreme 10HT also can withstand exposure to water, oils, fuels, solvents, acids and bases. Other features include constant viscosity, unlimited working life at room temperature and storage at room temperature. With NASA-approved low outgassing, Supreme 10HT is suitable for aerospace, electronic, electrical, metalworking, appliance, automotive and chemical applications.
