Chem-Trend (Howell, Mich.) has introduced Chemlease One FS EZ semipermanent release agent to its line of One FS mold releases for use in composites molding operations. The EZ variant is free of hazardous air pollutants (HAPs), has less odor than comparable products and is intended for use in high-gloss applications. Its primary benefits are high durability and a potential increase in production due to its ease of application. The release applies quickly. Minimal additional mold surface preparation is required to deliver a streak-free and smear-free finish. End-product categories include tub/shower, marine and transportation.
