ACS International Inc. (Tucson, Ariz.) has developed Artistone, a new line of cultured granite filler materials specifically formulated for cast applications behind gel coat. The materials offer a high-sheen finish and are suitable for bathroom vanities, tubs, showers and shower surrounds, wall panels, furniture and other simulated-stone applications. The company uses a patented process designed to produce consistent granite particles.
