Binks (Glendale Heights, Ill.) has upgraded its pneumatic agitators with a more efficient 15:1 worm gear drive reducer (previously 20:1), providing less air consumption to produce desired mixing speeds. The new units, suitable for use with pails, drums and pressure tanks, are available in fixed speed, variable speed and oscillating configurations, with any of a number of shaft lengths and propeller styles. The agitator drives can be used with light, medium and heavy viscous fluids as well as waterborne and solvent borne materials.
