MATERIAL SA (Brussels, Belgium) has introduced CADWIND 2007, the latest version of its established filament winding software. Features of this release include a graphics package that offers new mandrel and winding view modes, including real-time, animated simulation of a proposed part’s winding process that enables the user to model and troubleshoot interactions between the payout eye and the mandrel. The program now can be rented or leased and runs on Windows 98SE, ME, NT, 2000, XP and VISTA.
