Hawkeye Industries Inc. (Marietta, Ga.) has introduced Aqua-Buff 1000-F, a fast-cut compound that replaces Aqua-Buff 1000 and 1000-W. The new product has the same physical properties and retail price as the previous products but provides faster scratch removal and faster cleaning of parts and molds, with the same swirl mark-free results previously offered. The new, light gray color reportedly will not stain porous, light-colored gel coats and paints.
