Atlas Material Testing Technology LLC (Chicago, Ill.) has added an enhanced digital control system to its Ci3000+ Weather-Ometer and Fade-Ometer weather testing systems. Of note is a new, full-color TFT, icon-driven touch-screen display and an embedded control system that replaces the programmable logic controller (PLC) used in the previous generation of systems. Internally, analog control circuits have been replaced with a digital network. Memory capacity has been increased to allow additional features and functions previously managed by external controllers, such as water resistivity and lamp water temperature.
