Sly Inc. (Cleveland, Ohio) has launched the new RAC Series of Reverse Air Collectors. Each collection unit features an advanced reverse-air cleaning system that removes accumulated dust from filter bags without requiring compressed air. Instead, each collector has an internal blower powered by a 3/4-hp explosion-proof, gear-driven motor. The motor also moves a cleaning arm with high-velocity nozzles that directs air for continuous cleaning of each filter bag on every rotation of the arm. The collectors are available to filter from about 4,500 to 70,000 ACFM. A variety of filter media are available. The collectors come “standard” with walk-in clean air plenum.
