Diamond Tool Coating (N. Tonawanda, N.Y.) has developed a new diamond-coated router for use with composite laminates. Dubbed the Diamond Tiger, the router reportedly lasts as much as 10 times longer than carbide competitors. Available in a range of sizes in upcut, downcut or compression tool designs, the router is said to minimize tool resharpening and reduce downtime for tool changes and CNC machine recalibration.
