Plasticolors Inc. (Ashtabula, Ohio) has formulated its patent-pending SynerMix line of additive products. The company uses a combination of synergist nanotechnology and its HC conductive carbon black to create a stronger conductive network within a thermoset resin matrix or paint coating at lower efficient loadings to help mitigate problems typically associated with conductive compounding. The product is an effective alternative for improving conductive performance of polyester composite products, the company says.
