Research and Markets (Dublin, Ireland) has published Composites Forming Technologies, a new book that explains the forming mechanisms for composites and covers modeling and analysis of forming techniques. Notable chapters discuss the testing and simulation of composite molding processes. The book also considers fabrication strategies for various composite material forms, including thermoset and thermoplastic prepreg, molding compounds and composite/metal laminates. The book is edited by Professor Andrew Long, head of the Polymer Composites Research Group and course director for mechanical engineering at the University of Nottingham, U.K. The book costs €238 or about $328 (USD).
