Collier Research Inc. (Hampton, Va.) has released HyperSizer v4.8 with new capabilities, including Test Driven Reliability Analysis (Stochastic Optimization), which provides more structural integrity (reliability) while also reducing structural weight. For convenience, users can switch between traditional deterministic analysis and reliability analysis to assess margin-of-safety impact of new methods. Hundreds of test data cases are included in the newly compiled v4.8 database. Significant improvements have been made to the user manuals, including expanded reference sections, detailed tutorial application and a new Object Model Programming Manual, says the company.
