Thermwood Corp. (Dale, Ind.) has developed the new Model 63 series CNC router, specifically designed for use in aerospace and composites manufacturing. It is available in base sizes, ranging from 5 ft by 10 ft (1.5m by 3m) to 8 ft by 60 ft (2.4m by 18.3m). All major weldments are stress relieved, and the machine is laser-calibrated, with the entire machine motion envelope measured and compensated using 3-D volumetric compensation.
