FARO Technologies Inc. (Lake Mary, Fla., U.S.A.) announces the integration of the FARO Laser Tracker with HighRES 3-D reverse engineering software. FARO is shipping the LITE Reverse Engineering Software Module as a plug-in for all new Laser Trackers. The module eliminates the need to import 3-D data from standalone platforms and enables users to work directly with SolidWorks, Autocad, Mechanical Desktop/Inventor, Mastercam or CADKEY.
