Cotronics Corp. (Brooklyn, N.Y.) is offering Resbond 940, a customizable series of fast setting, 1649°C/3000°F adhesives that offer good chemical and thermal shock resistance. Adhesives are available in metal-based and electrically or thermally conductive grades that can provide low to high thermal expansion, ultrahigh-temperature performance, machinability and/or super-fast setup. Designed for use with quartz, cordierite, fused silica, glassware, ceramics and metals, the materials cure at room temperature in four to eight hours, or in five minutes at 79°C/175°F.
