Missler Software (Evry, France) and CGTech (Irvine, Calif.) have developed a new interface between the former’s TopSolid’Cam software and the latter’s VERICUT NC/CNC simulation software to improve machine simulation visualization. The new interface allows VERICUT to be opened directly from TopSolid’Cam, and all information related to the part, stock and tools that were used can be automatically transferred directly from TopSolid’Cam, thereby eliminating the need for secondary data transfer. The interface also helps verify the ISO code generated by TopSolid’Cam postprocessors, which is expected to help reduce potential data collisions upon transfer.
