Applied Composites Engineering (Indianapolis, Ind.) has made available a new line of computer-based autoclave and oven controllers and a lower priced series of Turn-Key Composite Autoclave systems first developed for use in its own aerospace composites facility. The new Operator Intuitive Control is designed to simplify entry of cure recipes by means of a self-guiding format. A color graphing feature displays the recipe as it is entered, making it easy to view and make corrections. Included are up to 18 I/O's for connection to 12 part thermocouples and 6 vacuum sensors. Tracking batch processing is recorded automatically and saved to either Mircosoft Access or SQL database. No paper recorders are required.
