(London, U.K.) has released Laminate Tools v3.1, a software package that addresses the entire design/analysis/check/manufacture process of structural design, focusing on the composite material features. The tool is designed to link the various disciplines, communicate original data between departments, ensure proper understanding of the structure and offer in-depth checks. Its overall functionality reportedly has been improved with features such as sub-layup level definitions. The software can be used with any existing CAD system and finite element analysis package.
