Flow International Corp.'s (Kent, Wash.) new Dynamic Contour Follower (DCF) technology allows for automatic set and track of the stand-off distance between the waterjet mixing tube tip and the material being cut. It is designed to work in conjunction with the PASER ECL Plus cutting head system and Dynamic Waterjet cutting heads. The technology is designed for fabricators that need to cut precise parts and for applications that require extra protection when cutting material that is wrapped, stacked, stressed or slightly curved.
