Overall purpose: To guide and foster the acquisition and exchange of knowledge of advanced composite structures, embracing all aspects of engineering theory and practice relevant to fiber composite materials.
Annual meeting: Usually held in Melbourne, in early December.
Regular regional/national meetings: Research and technical seminars are conducted each month by the Society's three chapters, located in Canberra, Melbourne and Sydney.
