Wind & Ocean Energy Seminar agenda finalized

Organized in association with the Maine Composites Alliance, the seminar will explore the market and opportunities in wind blade and ocean energy and will include speaker topics on technology, design and manufacturing, installation and repair.

New speakers include:

  • Dan Radomski, co-founder of Kinetik Partners (Berkley, Mich., USA), who will discuss market drivers for wind blade design and manufacturing.
  • John Ferland, vice president product development at Ocean Renewable Power Co. (Porland, Maine, USA), who will discuss composites use in the Maine Tidal Energy Project.
  • Professors Jochen Grossmann and Frank Dahlhaus from GICON (Dresden, Germany), who will discuss their experience with offshore wind farms, including the large European Alpha Ventus project.

Other speakers include Chris Red, vice president, Composite Market Reports; Stephen Nolet, principal engineer, TPI Composites; Chris Campbell, executive director, Ocean Renewable Energy Group; Kurt Thomsen, CEO, Advanced Offshore Solutions; and more.
