V Systems Composites Inc. (VSC, Anaheim, Calif.) has announced that Lloyds Register Quality Assurance (LRQA) has certified that V System Composites' quality management system (QMS) continues to comply with the requirements of ISO 9001:2000, ANSI/ISO/ASQ Q9001:2000, and AS9100B:2004, and has been awarded a renewal to the company's QMS certification.

The certification covers "Manufacturing of Advanced Composite Structural Products for Aerospace, Military, and Commercial Applications."The successful completion of this audit positions VSC for a strong launch of NADCAP certification efforts. VSC has obtained an Oct. 1, 2008 engagement date with PRI for the purposes of achieving this critical certification. V System’s says the implementation of NADCAP is the next logical step in the company’s quality evolution to fully align VSC with its production customer's quality requirements. NADCAP provides the security of duplicating the quality system that many of the primes have adopted and assuring that fabrication processes are controlled to a uniform specification.

VSC will exhibit in booth 105 at DMC 2007, Dec. 3-6 at the Paris Hotel, Las Vegas, Nev.
