UV-A LED curing flashlight

Spectronics has developed an LED flashlight designed for curing adhesives, sealants, epoxies, resins, coatings and other materials.

Spectronics Corp. (Westbury, N.Y.) has unveiled the Spectroline OPTIMAX 365C, a cordless, rechargeable UV-A (365 nm) LED flashlight designed for curing adhesives, sealants, epoxies, resins, coatings and other materials. The flashlight uses ultrahigh-flux LED technology to produce a nominal steady-state UV-A intensity of 60,000 µW/cm² at a distance of 6 inches/15 cm. It's powered by a rechargeable nickel metal hydride battery and provides 90 minutes of continuous use between charges. LED lifetime is 30,000 hours. The device weighs 11.8 oz/335g, has a corrosion-resistant anodized lamp body, comes with UV-absorbing spectacles, a belt holster and AC and DC battery chargers. The AC charger is available in 100V, 120V, 230V or 240V versions.
