TenCate Advanced Composites (Morgan Hill, Calif., USA), a supplier of advanced composite materials for the aerospace industry, reported on Jan. 10 that it has signed a cooperative marketing and development agreement with Leadgo Advanced Materials (Shanghai, China). The purpose of this agreement is to further support the advanced composites market for the growing Chinese aerospace industry.
The primary areas of focus for this mutual agreement include market development, sales and distribution, product technical support and services in China. The agreement covers the wide range of thermoset composite technologies of TenCate, and includes leading edge thermoplastic composites of TenCate, being designed into the next generation commercial aircraft.
Steve Mead, TenCate vice president of sales and marketing, states: "This is a significant milestone for materials technology company TenCate and our Asia strategy.
