Strongwell Corporation (Bristol, Va.), has announced two key changes within its sales and engineering functions: David Gibbs has been named Vice President, Sales and Engineering, and will have functional responsibility for corporate domestic and international sales, structural engineering, quality assurance and research and development. David has been in the composites industry over 17 years with Strongwell, most recently serving as Director, Virginia Operations. David is a graduate of Tennessee Tech University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering.
Mike Carr has been named Director of Sales, reporting to the Vice President, Sales and Engineering. Mike will have responsibility for Strongwell corporate domestic and international sales, providing leadership and guidance for all field sales managers. Mike has been with Strongwell since 1998, most recently acting as a Regional Sales Director. Mike is a graduate of the University of Sarasota and a resident of Canton, Georgia.
The appointment of these two experienced individuals to key leadership roles is a positive step in the restructuring of Strongwell’s corporate sales and engineering function to better position the company in its aggressive pursuit of pultrusion market, product, R&D, and sales growth well into the future.
