Stanford University soliciting participation in its new Composites Manufacturing Innovation Center

Companies are being invited to join in the effort, part of a NIST initiative.

Dr. Stephen Tsai of Stanford University (Palo Alto, Calif.) has issued an open invitation for companies, large, medium and small to join the newly formed Stanford Composites Manufacturing Innovation Center, geared to improve the competitiveness of technology for the worldwide and domestic markets, and create jobs in the U.S. in support of a NIST initiate. "We at Stanford have formed a strong technical team with membership from several leading universities and highly successful companies. With collaboration with our member companies, more effective use of materials and a commercialization effort, the plan can be accelerated and made competitive in a matter of months rather than years," says Tsai.
