SOURCEBOOK 2011 listing renewal: Publishers urge quick action as listing renewal campaign nears goal

Publishers await renewal responses from 250 remaining composites industry suppliers.

“More than 1,400 industry suppliers have renewed their free directory listings as our renewal campaign for print publication of SOURCEBOOK draws to a close,” said SOURCEBOOK editor-in-chief Jeff Sloan. “But that leaves slightly more than 250 who have yet to update their listings.”

That’s the word, Oct. 5, from CompositesWorld, the publisher of High-Performance Composites and Composites Technology magazines and the CompositesWorld Weekly e-newsletter.

Sloan reiterated CW’s goal: We’re confident that we can reach all of the 1,657 companies that were listed in SOURCEBOOK 2010,” he noted, pointing out that renewal is required to ensure that the 2011 directory is as complete and up-to-date as possible before publication.

Sloan emphasizes that suppliers who are unsure if their listings have been renewed may check renewal status by visiting

“If they see a green check mark after their company name, that means the listing has been renewed for 2011,” SOURCEBOOK managing editor Mike Musselman explained. “If there is no check mark, that means that the listing is not yet eligible for the 2011 print edition.”

Industry suppliers who have yet to renew their listings should receive an e-mail today in their inboxes with “SOURCEBOOK 2011” in the subject line. The e-mail message will contain a link to the SOURCEBOOK’s online listing form. Those who haven’t received a renewal request via e-mail or who are not currently listed on the Web site should immediately contact

“We’ll arrange to get them a link within 24 hours,” says Musselman, adding, “We don’t want to see anyone who wants a listing miss getting one,” he adds, “but this week is the final push before we end our public appeal for renewals.”
