Sintex Wausaukee to provide composite interiors for operator cabs

Sintex Wausaukee Composites Inc. (SWC, Wausaukee, WI, US) will supply interior components for Caterpillar Thailand operator cabs on its underground mining rigs.

The components will be manufactured in Sintex Wausaukee’s FRP cell in Pune, Maharashtra, India, which was opened in 2014. As part of the Sintex-Wausaukee global initiative the project was completed in conjunction with Bright Autoplast Ltd. a Sintex partner company. Engineering and quality control as well as product logistics will be directed by Sintex Wausaukee’s Special Projects Vehicle (SPV) team in Wausaukee.
