Saertex opens Chinese facilty

The plant will employ 50 people and make noncrimp fabrics for wind energy applications.

The SAERTEX group (Saerbeck, Germany) opened its eighth location worldwide in Dongying, China, on Oct. 8. The group invested more than €6 million in the Dongying facility, 400 km southeast of Beijing. The new facility is expected to create 50 new jobs. The new facility will manufacture products and materials (noncrimp fabrics) for the wind industry, which is one of the fastest growing industries in China's rapidly developing economy.

In addition to the new works, the SAERTEX group maintains an office in the Chinese capital of Beijing. All group activities on the Asian market are centrally administered by this office.
