Reichhold opens manufacturing facility in Pune, India

With capacity of 13,200 metric tons, the plant will focus on manufacturing unsaturated polyester resins for wind turbine, glass-reinforced pipe, engineering stone, chemical equipment, automobile and general purpose sectors.

Reichhold (Research Triangle Park, N.C., USA) announced on Nov. 3 that it has opened a new manufacturing facility in India at Ranjangaon, Pune. Reichhold now has 19 manufacturing sites and four technology centers across the world.

The facility is designed with a planned annual production capacity of 13,200 metric tons. Initially, the plant will focus on manufacturing unsaturated polyester resins (UPR) for wind turbine, glass-reinforced pipe (GRP), engineering stone, chemical equipment, automobile and general purpose sectors.
