Pittman to lead Bulk Molding Compounds

Citadel Plastics Holdings, Inc., (West Chicago, Ill.), a compounder of thermoset and thermoplastic resins,  announced on July 12 the appointment of Steve Pittman as president of the Bulk Molding Compounds, Inc. (BMCI), thermoset division of Citadel Plastics.  In his role as president, Mr. Pittman will be responsible for leading Citadel’s global thermoset business and driving new growth initiatives. Mr. Pittman brings an extensive background in market development and leadership roles from GE Plastics, Eastman Chemical, FedEx and most recently as the vice president and general manager for GE Capital, Trailer Fleet Services.  “Steve brings a deep commercial background that will help us in driving strategic growth initiatives.  He will engage with our key customers to deliver innovative solutions to their product needs.” says Mike Huff, CEO for Citadel. Pittman holds a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing and finance from the University of Missouri, St. Louis.
