AOC (Collierville, Tenn.) announced a new global management team,
effective Oct. 1, 2008. Jack Roesle, former VP of global sales and
marketing, is appointed to the new position of senior VP, international
business. He leads the newly formed International Business Team of John
Griggs, VP of international development, Stephen Olle, managing
director, Europe and Asia, Peter Cheshire, managing director,
composites material supply, a U.K.-based distributor, and George Sutch,
manager of international operations. Reagan Stephens, formerly VP -
manufacturing, is now VP - sales and marketing, North America. Brian
Parker continues as western region sales manager and managing director
for Latin America. Matt Watkins, former plant manager - gel coats and
colorants, is now VP operations ... Quickstep Holdings Ltd. (North
Coogee, Western Australia) appointed Philippe Odouard as its CEO,
effective Oct. 13. In addition, Peter Williams has become CFO. Odouard
has held a number of senior management roles within Thomson-CSF (now
Thales Group). Williams comes to Quickstep after two years with
biodiesel producer Mission NewEnergy Limited. Quickstep's current CEO,
Nick Noble, has announced his retirement ... Three executive positions
have been added to Knight & Carver Wind Group's (National City,
Calif.) leadership team: Mark Simon, COO, Craig Robinson, senior

Composites Inc. (Scottsdale, Ariz.) announced on Sept. 11 that Jack
Henry and Steve Beaver have joined its wind energy company. Henry will
serve as chairman of the Audit Committee of the TPI board of directors
while Beaver will serve as TPI's general counsel
Bayer
MaterialScience LLC (Pittsburgh, Pa.) announced that Joe Ventura has
been appointed business development manager for Bayer's Baytubes carbon
nanotube business in North America. Ventura was senior project manager
for Construction/Green Technologies at Bayer MaterialScience. Ventura,
worked at Monsanto's Radiation Dynamics and GE Plastics, prior to
joining Bayer MaterialScience in 1998.
