Zoltek Inc. (St. Louis, Mo.) has appointed David Stewart as the chief executive of its newly formed St. Louis subsidiary, Zoltek Automotive Inc. Stewart, the founder of Stewart Automotive Research (Houston, Texas), has a long materials-and-processes résumé. His work has included detailed analysis and computer cost modeling for auto companies in the area of composites. Martin O’Connor will serve as the company’s president. Previously the director of McLaren Composites Ltd. (Shalford, Guildford, U.K.), O’Connor is a composites veteran with long experience in Formula 1 auto racing and supercar programs ... SIGMATEX High Technology Fabrics Inc. (Benicia, Calif.) announced the appointment of Jonah Jimenez as president. Jimenez comes to Sigmatex with more than 25 years of experience in carbon fiber composites in both the U.S. and Europe. He will report to Scott Tolson, CEO of the Sigmatex global businesses.
