Paul Oppenheim joins ACT Aerospace

Mr. Oppenheim is the new vice president and general manager of Applied Composite Technology Aerospace in Utah.

Paul Oppenheim has joined Applied Composite Technology (ACT) Aerospace as vice president and general manager. Founded in 1984, ACT Aerospace  (Gunnison, Utah) is recognized as a leader in the development and production of affordable, advanced composite products for the aerospace and defense industries. ACT specializes in design, FAA certification and high volume production of monolithic and sandwich structures and assemblies using highly efficient, lean manufacturing processes. ACT Aerospace is both AS9100 Rev C and NADCAP Certified, and has numerous customer-specific qualifications for the manufacture of advanced composite products.

Prior to joining ACT Aerospace, Mr. Oppenheim was the president and general manager of Cobham Composite Products, executive vice president, V System Composites (Anaheim, CA); director, marketing and sales, AAR Composites (Clearwater, Florida); business development manager, STW Composites, Inc. (Montrose, Colorado); and manager of Composite Structures Programs at ATK Composites (Magna, Utah). He has a degree in Aerospace Engineering from Arizona State University and is Six Sigma Green Belt Certified through Villanova University.
