CompositesWorld reports that Paul Oldroyd, technical fellow, manufacturing and engineering process development at Bell Helicopter Textron (Fort Worth, Texas), has been added as a keynote speaker to the Carbon Fiber conference agenda. He will speak on Thursday, Nov. 10 at 8:30. The 2016 Carbon Fiber conference is being held Nov. 9-11 at the Scottsdale Resort at McCormick Ranch in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Oldroyd will explore the exploitation of carbon fiber in aerospace, particularly as it is influenced by carbon fiber use in consumer and ground transportation applications, and the effect of high-volume processing in neighbor industries on relatively low-volume aerospace – specifically, adapting and right-sizing those processes to aerospace.
