Oxeon (Borås, Sweden) was acknowledged as the fastest-growing company in Sweden in 2010 and was awarded the Gazelle prize Supergasell by Swedish financial newspaper Dagens Industri. The Supergasell is an annual award that recognizes the Swedish company that has shown the most exceptional growth and created new employment opportunities. Oxeon cofounders Dr. Nandan Khokar, Andreas Martsman and Fredrik Winberg received the prize at the Supergasell gala in Stockholm, Sweden, on Nov. 29. Andreas Martsman, Oxeon vice president and head of business development, says, “We are very proud of winning this award, and we would like to thank everybody that has helped Oxeon throughout the years.” Oxeon’s products include trademarked TeXtreme Spread Tow Fabric and TeXero Spread Tow Tapes, which are used for reducing weight and improving the mechanical performance of composite products.
